Happy Birthday Olliebear! 02-28-10

Cooper has had a great weekend.  His vomiting is much improved and he has had more energy this weekend, too.  I think the bug has finally passed completely and he is back to enjoying life again.  We are hoping we can see Miss Pat this week for OT.  We have missed her!  Tomorrow morning, we will run labs and we are praying that Cooper's liver numbers look much better this week.  Please pray that Cooper continues to feel good, stays healthy, and that HIS CALL comes soon!

Today was a blessed day in our house!  We got to celebrate Oliver's 5th birthday today at HOME as a family!  And not just our little family either - my sister Liz came in from NYC with her 2 gorgeous baby girls!  And my sister Jennifer came over with her family as well.  And then my parents and Gami were here as well.  It was a super fun, very noisey celebration!  The birthday boy was just thrilled to get to celebrate at home!  Last year, Cooper and I were in the hospital, so we had to have his birthday party at the hospital.  That isn't a lot of fun for anyone!  Our den looked like Christmas morning after Ollie attacked his presents.  Cooper had a wonderful time playing with his cousing Leo while the big kids played upstairs.  Sweet Miss Eliana was a little overwhelmed, but found Caroline's major stash of jewelry and sunglasses and got all blinged out.  And I got to hold and feed and sway with baby Garbrielle.  She is just so pretty and she smells like heaven!  Kevin promised me tonight, as I was all teary swaying her to sleep in my arms, that we could have another baby when Cooper is well.  We can't have anymore the old fashioned way, so we will be adopting down the road.  I can't wait for Cooper to be a big brother like the other boys!  And all Caroline wants is a promise that any baby we bring in this house is a GIRL!  We'll be happy with whatever God brings us when the time is right.

Thank you for continuing to pray for our family.  We are feeling the prayers surround us and witnessing the miracles they bring for Cooper and all of our kids!
